Chester Arthur was NOT a Natural Born Citizen

Chester Alan Arthur was born on October 5, 1829 in North Fairfield, Vermont, and after serving as the 21st President responsible for the 21st Administration, died November 18, 1886 in New York City.

His American born mother was Malvina Stone, born April 29, 1802 in Berkshire, Vermont and died January 16, 1869 in Newtonville, New York.

His father, on the other hand, had been foreign born near Ballymena, County Antrim, Ireland on December 5, 1796.  Chester's father, the Reverend William Arthur died October 17,  1875, in Newtownvill, New York.  The Reverend married Malvina Stone in Dunham, Quebec on April 12, 1821.

Chester lived under the foreign influence of his Ireland born father and did not meet the eligibility requirment to be a natural born citizen because of this.   Living under the influence of a father who was foreign born provided young Chester an early education of how it was for his father growing up in Ireland and not the life of growing up in the United States.
